Two oscilloscopes for a tinkerer
Many years ago, I acquired a couple of different oscilloscopes. I've come to terms with the fact that I'll never prioritize actually working on them so it's time to say goodbye to them and give them a good home.
The EICO 460 vacuum tube oscilloscope did work when I first got it, around 2001, but at some point in the intervening years the vacuum tubes burnt out. (At least in the aughts you could get the same tubes as audio equipment, and it looks like Ebay has several full 460s for parts or working.) There's a full wiring manual PDF you can find trivially as well.
The LVS 5850 NTSC Vectorscope turns on but its unclear what the signal monitoring capability is without an input source, which I do not have ready to hand.
I'd like them to go to someone who cares about such things and would be interested in tinkering with the equipment. No charge for them, and I can drop them off in town. Preference given to an ECE or CS student given the subject matter.
ETA: working through my current DM list in time order but they'll probably be spoken for soon.
