I think I realized what was wrong with my Xbox. I’m afraid to touch it. but I’m pretty sure I shouldn’t enable my F Drive in unleash x settings right must not have been on by default.

!Update! For anyone else thats see this. I’m dumb. I accidentally hit the analog stick and turned F to no. By default both were in fact enabled and said yes. Smh man. Uhhh. Will probably just leave this post up for the information that was given to me by bombbloke. just in case anybody else is wondering about what those settings mean in unleashX

Seems like it was working for the longest time after I upgraded the hard drive. Like a whole year no issues

but I didn’t play it a whole lot. I only started having issues the past month. Seems like the problems started after i installed the original Xbox dashboard as a application using the Rocky 5 extra disc then going on the original dashboard i created a playlist at around 200 songs I got a message saying I don’t have enough space but that doesn’t make sense because I have a 2 TB hard drive. Might be unrelated. But i started having issues after that

Error code 7 used to only happen sometimes.

And when I would try to save a game the xbox would freeze sometimes. The last time it was working, I was playing a game and it just froze. I wasnt trying to save the game or nothing either and it wasnt auto saving i dont think because i was in the menu of the game. Now it just gives me error code 7 every time i turn it on. I’m using a startech sata adapter and I swear I bought a 80 wire cable. I’m definitely not using the original cable. Maybe not though. Also, my Xbox froze every time I tried to turn on with it plugged into ethernet

Anyways, can someone recommend me a good cable to buy and then I’m gonna buy a new Starlink adapter and see if that fixes it. Hope it does cause it was completely refurbished had all replaced capacitors and the disc player works great.
