I wanted to make her a lil scarier
- wasn't animation friendly as I plan on making an animated series
- wanted him to look more down to earth, the world building was alot different when I first designed him, and since the world building has been toned down and in set in current day Georgia, I wanted him to look as regular, but still cool, as possible
- the bleached hair is out of character for him, he's a shy, reserved guy working at a blue collar job, ge wouldn't want to draw attention to himself
- first design felt too cowboyish, which doesn't match his storyline anymore
I'm trying to create an animated series and I'm trying to write the main villian, she's a female vampire who's on a mission to eradicate a specific species of vampires by pushing a lie that they're the reason for all the other vampires problems. My inspirations for her is politicians and cult leaders. I want her design to come off as powerful and wise on the surface, but intimidating and horrifying once you get to know her. Does that make sense?
She looks like a mouse lol
The more outlandish the better
(First is new, second is old) in the old design, my character, Tiên, is alot more alternative and fashionable and i decided to tone her down. The reason for this was i wanted Tiên's living situation and lifestyle to be more visible through her design. Tiên is homeless and lives in her situationship's car. While she can be a confident person, she can also be easily pushed into being insecure by people like her situationship. She's also a hunter and has to get active often. I thought the new design would help show off her lifestyle. She's still alternative, but with her financially struggling and constantly on the move, I felt like the new design suited her more. Also, the original design was created when the the world building was meant to be way less down to earth, and with me changing that, alot of characters were tone down to match the new world.
I think she looks alot cuter with a smaller head and smaller eyes
Can't believe those are meant to be the same woods in both photos
