I received a confirmation email from Pets Best for an insurance policy for a dog named Simba. The scammer provided them with my name, physical address, email, and phone number. I created an account on the Pets Best website to get more information, and I see that a credit card was provided that was not my own.

I emailed customer support to ask them to cancel the plan. I also plan to file a report with the FTC. Meanwhile, my credit is already frozen with the three major credit bureaus, and I have identity monitoring through my bank. Is there anything else I need to do?

Has this happened to anyone else? What was the outcome?
