Question regarding signaling at junctions
So my partner who is a full license holder with over 20 years of driving has a question and so do I:
On the screenshot (sorry for the quality), you can see in yellow the options you have when coming from the left from Station road, into Brighton road. As you can see the road splits into two so you have three options.
1 - Turn left and then straight ahead
2 - Turn left, go into the central reservation to then turn right into the other side road
3 - Turn right and then straight ahead
One thing my partner has noticed on at least two occasions was two cars side by side on the left and right lane:
1 - The car on the left lane signaled left and turned left as expected (red arrow)
2 - The car on the right lane turned signaled right but turned left, then got into the central reservation (blue arrow). They then signalled right when they got into the central reservation.
Both left at the same time in the same direction. Nothing happened but the one on the right lane, shouldn't they have signalled left and then right, since anybody trying to turn into Station road could get confused as to where the car on the right lane was going due to their signalling?
