Realtor rec for rentals
Hello, My son is looking to move to Philly probably this October. We will be in the city end of July to look at some places and hopefully find a place for him. He is being very specific for his apartment needs. I see lots of recommendations for realtors for purchasing homes but what about rentals? Same people?
He is totally open to areas, doesn't care about living in Center City, open to West Philly, North, South, doesn't really care. We originally talked about a budget of 1K but now he is telling me, he would like to keep it closer to $800. Maybe 1K would be ok if it includes most utilities.
Don't laugh at his requirements... preferred: Studio, 300 - 400 square feet, in unit washer dryer, needs a full stove and fridge. Prefers walk in shower, loves a good patio, would really love an older, brick building with history (really?) Doesn't want to be in someone's house or have a roomate. I feel like we are looking for the impossible.
I see great things for 1K or slightly above. He shows me things I would not live in. I think a visit will really help when he sees apartments in person. He works for Home Depot and will be transferring his job there, not sure to which store yet, will depend on who has an opening at that time. No car, will be using public transportation.
