We've known since my 20 week scan that our baby boy has a cleft lip. Originally diagnosed as unilateral complete cleft lip (L side) only, palate intact. But yesterday at our 32 week scan they revised the diagnosis to Midline cleft lip (11mm) and hard palate, possible soft palate. They sent me into a spiral when they said midline is often associated with brain defects as it is quite rare.
My question is, how rare. Of course I've googled everything endlessly, which has just left me more petrified and with more questions.
