Cat life Hacks, Tips & Tricks

Searching this subreddit I found a few various good tips and tricks, but no single thread collecting them. So let's hear your best hack, tip, trick, or little bit of advice for life with a cat.

This is Coco and she shreds like a boss. My local pet supply shop has these cardboard shredders for 2 bucks, but they leave such a mess! So I put it in a box which collects all the shreds >> problem solved!

Your turn! 🎤

When can I leave them out overnight?

I live in zone 8b and like to bring my Jades outside in the summer. Lately we've had daytime temps around 15-20°C / 60-68° F so out they go. I'm wondering at what temps I can leave them out overnight. Some are bigger, sturdier plants and some are babies in wee little pots. I'm pretty sure we're past the last frost. The next 10 days should have nighttime lows of between 2°C / 36°F (seems too dangerously close to freezing for them) and 8°C / 46°F. I've heard some say once it's consistently above 10°C / 50°F at night they can live outside.

What's your experience with this?

Pic for interest, I got this lovely lady last week for €3 from a neighborhood Whatsapp plant group, gotta love a deal like that! 🤩
