Nearly 10 year old 1070ti died on me today. Upset bc this was an older hand me down PC from a friend, as I’ve never had the money to build a nice gaming rig myself.

Do you think we’ll ever get the PS2 versions of GOW 1 and 2 and the PSP games purchasable on PS5, not cloud streamed?

The cloud versions are….well, cloud versions. Plus they are the PS3 ports which have force zoomed-in widescreen AND GOW 1 on PS3 has that god awful annoying glitch with the music in pandora’s temple. And before people say that they wouldn’t do that since the trilogy is being remade: GOW 3 is already available, plus there are other games that are available in both original and remakes, like the Destroy All Humans game, for instance.

GPU started artifacting; fixed by reinstalling drivers from scratch. Should I be concerned?

I got a hand me down PC from a friend about a year ago. It’s older, with a 1070ti, but runs great. Today I turned it on and had crazy artifacting and decide manager was telling me that “windows has disabled this device because it reported problems (code 43)”

I know artifacting like that is usually a death sentence for a GPU, but I uninstalled everything with DDU and reinstalled the drivers and…it’s fixed. I would assume if it’s a hardware problem that reinstalling the drivers wouldn’t have worked. Anyone had a similar experience?
