My brother is considering doing BDS, and I’m trying to understand if it’s actually a good career choice in today’s time.

Would really appreciate honest opinions from people in the field:

- Is BDS a good career option in India right now?

- Is NEET compulsory for admission, or are there any alternatives?

- If going for private colleges, which ones are actually decent?

- What’s the typical fee range in private colleges?

- How much does it cost to open a dental clinic after graduation?

- How is the income and long-term growth?

Not looking for sugarcoated answers, just want a real ground-level perspective (pros, cons, struggles, competition, etc.).
