Where to learn how to shoot

How would someone who has never shot before learn how to shoot a handgun? I’ve seen places that let you rent the gun and buy the bullets with your range time, but that doesn’t help me much because I still don’t know how to use a gun. I have $100 that can be used for all of this, no more. Ideas?

Hi everyone! I am in college and was thinking about being a cop, but am unsure if it is even a possibility for me. I have anemia, a thyroid issue, stomach issues, hypermobility, adhd, and anxiety disorder (that is calmed by action). I have had accommodations and an esa, but I slightly exaggerated on the esa paperwork and my doctor is really easy to get paperwork from, and I just wanted my cat in my dorm with me. My accommodations are for ADHD. I have had a mental health crisis in the past, but it was largely due to meds I was placed on.
I may have an internship opportunity to work for a police department and am working towards getting fit, but considering that I am also very bad with faces and geography, I don’t know if it’s just pointless to even try. No one in my family or friends works in law enforcement, so I have no one to ask. I have a back up career, but would really rather do law enforcement.
Would I be rejected from most police departments?

Hi everyone! I am currently a Junior at UIS and looking for an internship over the summer that is either in the QC or remote. I am a sociology major, criminology/criminal justice minor, and women and gender studies minor. I am looking for either an internship working with the community/community services, or working with law enforcement. Mental health related would also be good. LinkedIn and Google are of no help. I have reached out to the clock and the project.

Help!
