Hello, bought this light as my first and I was amazingly satisfied with it. Bought a small 30cm softbox that was meant for Godox Spotlights (was 5$, instead of 40$ for a bowens softbox). I covered the Airvents of my ML and the next time I saw it, it had these burnt spots on it. ChatGPT says its still fine for use, Gemeni says its dead. I couldn't find a replacement COB for it, only for the first gen.
I run a social media content agency, so I leave this lamp as long as it takes to finish my videos (5-60 min), at around 5-40% power max. On rare occasions I've used it for more (time and power).
Should I ditch it, or is it still fine for use?
