Hello! I’m a FTM to a lovely 9 week old baby boy. I’m all about soaking in the cuddles with contact naps and carriers whenever possible. I’m 40, and have some autoimmune joint pain, so I’m looking for something comfortable and supportive. I’m also only 5’3 with a suuuuper short torso, so I need something petite mama friendly. I also had a c-section, so my core is a bit shot at the moment.
I have a wrap style carrier that we both love, but I’d like something that would work for a short hike or a trip to the farmers market. So far, I’ve tried the ergo baby apron style embrace carrier. While baby was nice and cozy and the apron style was great with my short torso, it didn’t disperse his weight as evenly as I had hoped.
I’m wondering about a meh dai carrier, like the one sold by Hope and Plum. Is it worth the price tag? I’d love any recommendations you all might have!
