So i got another New 3DS XL running perfectly an tried swapping the problem motherboard in and it still get stuck with a blue light and black screen no noise with an SD card inserted. When i take the SD card out it flashes blue for less than a second and when i try to power it on again it stays blue for a second than makes a popping noise, which is weird cause everything works with the known good motherboard in.

So the problem for sure is on the motherboard, just don't know where. I replaced the the 2 zif/multifunctional connectors for the bottom lcd back light and nfc reader but still nothing.

I tried holding L+R+Up-dpad+A and press power, holding home and pressing power, holding start then press power, holding select then press power, i formatted the sd card and put the newest version on luma on the root (config, boot files. Let me know if im missing something).

Don't really want to give up on it cause i think its probably something easy im missing, but definitely let me know if its a lost cause. I'll try searching for more solutions.
