I have been checking for renewed stock after finding this desk online. I just noticed one version no longer has the fixed desk and came up with speculation that they were shifting towards the standing desk only or maybe put on sale to get rid of stock. Thoughts?
I suffered for the cause.
It was a toss up between this case and cooler master's newest release.
Inside is an MSI pro B850M-A wifi pz, Corsair Titan series with 140mm reverse fans, and cooler master PSU 850v.
I chose these parts because I thought it would be the cleanest look. It is clean, but the install was dirty.
The Corsair fans have one continuous line. The problem I ran into is the top case bracket blocks the plug. I used a Dremel to shave it down. Next, the bottom is cut to fit 120mm, but I still used 140 and only screwed down one side.
Msi board. This thing comes with 3 required pcie slots which is the max for all three sfx psu I had in the house. The cooler master (had to buy) was the only one with 4 which is required to plug in the fans controller. "Terrible design by Corsair" I used a pigtail to plug in the last port as the item I ordered was a cord short. The gods really tested me for the week.
Back panel only clips in, so better manage the hell out of those cables to sit flat.
Top is not removable.
Am I happy, yes. Was my dining room table covered in parts, yes. Would I do it again, we will see in 6-10 years.
