I have completed some exams through DGCA while i wait for ab initio cadet programs with air india and indigo.
the cheaper indian FTO partners for these cadet programs are very corrupted and take bribery to get in. while the foreign FTOs have become 30/35% more expensive because of the indian rupee losing value against the dollar with price touching 1.75cr for foreign ftos
conventional seems like the only sane option but vacancies are rare to come by and have fierce competition and even if you get a job they can bench you for 2-3 years easy (know some people who have been benched since 2023).
add racism and hate on top of this already mangled situation where if i get a foreign CPL they wont give me work permits. india se karo toh chance milna muskhil h.
