I am creating a separate sub for discussions and posts related to Michael Crichton's Jurassic Park novels

Since this is no longer the same warm and welcoming sub as it was eight years ago and since the Karens and gatekeepers of this sub have decided that discussions, questions, fan arts, etc. related to the novels are no longer welcome here because they are "not interested in them", sees them as "irrelevant" for this sub, so I decided that after the weekend I will create separate sub for the JP books and all people who want to discuss Crichton's Jurassic Park novels and post fan arts and reviews related to them are welcome there when the time comes.

Do you think they will re-make the Jurassic Park movies in 2086?

I know it's a little early to talk about this because we're still living in 2026 and that year is 60 years away, but the copyright on Crichton's novel expires on January 1, 2086, and by then the technology for the first film adaptation will be almost a century old, at which point a remake would become relevant at the latest if the current copyright system doesn't change before then or the public domain is abolished. Or alternatively, would a better time for this remake be in 2090-2091, when the world would be celebrating the 100th anniversary of Crichton's JP novel? And if you're alive in 2086 or 2090, would you watch it?

For example, I could imagine Robert Muldoon (novel) being a Ranger and Monk dual class with Outlander background and Ranger x Giant Killer Hunter and Monk x Drunken Master subclasses. This is because Muldoon is a former big game hunter and warden and a very lucky alcoholic in the novel. However, I would make a small home brew change so that Hunter's specialization (aka Favored Enemy) would be large beasts and dinosaurs, which deviates and is a bit different from what the normal ruling for the subclass would say. I would also give the character the free Gunner so that he can handle more naturally firearms and launchers.
