According to Jurassic World Rebirth’s film makers, the dialogue of the team talking about the remaining samples together is audio taken from an earlier scene. Gareth Edwards: “It was kind of comical. We dragged and dropped it on and it was like it was actually the scene.”

It turns out that the dialogue of the team talking about which two DNA samples they need next is actually audio that was just copy-and-pasted from an earlier scene of the film, when the team is climbing a hill when they first get to the island. It’s impressive how well the dialogue fits with their movements.

Source is the second audio commentary from the home video release of Jurassic World Rebirth (2025). The film’s editor Jabez Olssen had this to say:

“The dialogue as they were walking in at the beginning was actually some dialogue we stole from a different scene. It’s from when they left the beach and went up the hill. That scene used to be longer. And we took the dialogue about the two remaining dinosaurs they were looking for and it seemed to fit the shot perfectly.”

Director Gareth Edwards chimed in to say:

“It was kind of comical. We dragged and dropped it on and it was like it was actually the scene.”

What’s the most accurate digital recreation of Isla Nublar 1993?

I’m talking like Minecraft mods, Evolution 3 Workshop parks, etc. I think of the JW flight simulator expansion where you can fly around the entirety of the 5 deaths, but you can only explore the 2015 version of the park. It also doesn’t have to be from a video game either.

What are your Jurassic Park/World hot takes?

And no, I don't mean "oh nothing after *insert favourite film here* should have been made." I mean Real hot takes.

Billy Brennan should have been a woman.
"But Hex," I hear you cry. "Billy was flirting with a girl at the dig site!". LESBIANS EXIST, KYLE.

Also in JP/// - Grant shouldn't have punched Kirby after the first Spinosaur encounter. He has been shown time and time again to be very in control of his emotions, and I always have thought it was out of character for him to do that.

Little continuity error in The Lost World. It is established that Eddie carries the GPS and Malcolm the gun, but when they see the stegosaurs, they switch props between shots.

Which was worse to dig through triceratops or spinosaurus?

We’ve been there with our pets, even our own kids if either ate something we’d have to check to make sure they passed it through them meaning checking their poop. Between Ellie checking the triceratops poop for West Indian Liliac, Grant and The Kirby’s checking the spinosaurus poop for Paul’s satellite phone which was worse? I’ve always felt Grant and The Kirby’s had it worse because they had no gloves and had no soap to help get the smell and germs of their arms and hands.

“Spare no expense” has become bit of a joke as job done on the cheap.

However to build the first JP compound, facilities, electrical fences, the interactive tech in car, all those tunnels, staff wages, insurance and the research & development the cost would have run into the billions surely. That’s not mentioning site B costs.

John Hammond must have been super rich to start with. Realistically ticket prices would be giant and it would still take years to make any sort of profit once depreciation hits the profit/loss statement.

Is this lovely gentleman (the blue Velociraptor from aftermath) and blue the same velociraptor? Or are they just related? (I think they're just related)

although I've seen the nickname "Blue" for this Velociraptor I don't think they are the same velociraptor because although their coats are similar the the aftermath blue has a deeper shade of blue and markings on their forearms and thighs

Most likely I think this Velociraptor is probably blue's brother/sister since although blue doesn't appear to be in the game physically her DNA is here and there's a chance that they decided to use a bit of DNA on a Velociraptor embryo and accidentally create the >!Final boss of Aftermath!<

Jurassic Park: A Jurassic Park Story

Do we think Jurassic Park movies would work better if it leaned into anthology-style movies?

One of the reasons I love Rogue One: A Star Wars Story is because it wasn’t trying to set up a sequel. Nobody had plot armor. Anyone could die, anything could happen, and even though we knew the mission would ultimately succeed, it didn’t take away from the tension.

With the Jurassic World movies, it always felt like everything was building toward the next installment. You kind of know going in who’s safe, how it’s going to end, and that takes some of the edge off. >!Fallen Kingdom exists just to setup that closing moment when the Dino's are let loose on earth. To me, it feels the entire point of that movie was to setup the sequel. !<

So I’m curious, would a Jurassic Park movie set in the same universe, but completely separate from the main cast, actually work better? Smaller story, higher stakes, no guaranteed survivors.

Something like Jurassic World Rebirth could have been that, but they didn't. I actually like the core idea behind rebirth, but the execution feels rough, lots of plot holes and internal logic issues that take away from the movie. It's also extremely predictable which is less than appealing.

Feels like the franchise would benefit from just telling one tight, self-contained story where anything can happen. Curious what others think.

Jurassic World 5 : No Littering

On a remote island there is a hidden lab , a crew is enjoying his banana but delinquently litter banana peel on the floor after finishes it .

A coworker steps on it carelessly causing him to fall on the ground while mistakenly bumped a button .

That chain reaction causes a gate open enabling a "handicapped mutated hybrid " creature to massacre the whole lab .

The crew members in last film later happens to land on that island due to fuel shortage . Now they have to explore the island for potential resources and technological aid .

Later they find a broken communication center requiring them to find four essential pieces scattered around the island . They have no choice but to do the treasure hunt . And from reading the notes of workers in the lab they find out that the four parts are located on four different major facilities on the island .

Later they bumps into pterosaurs that has no wings and huge flying apex carnivorous predators . The wingless pterosaurs are called "tailorsaur" .Tailorsaur can run and hunt on the ground agilely and silently .

The huge flying carnivores comes in different forms . Some resemble spinosaurs , while others resemble trex . When they soar through the sky , the bulky shadow glide through the ground . Their presence is dreadful and horrifying . Their arrival is always accompanied by sound of flapping just like thunder , loud and scary .

There is a shot of an out of focus t-rex about to attack a couple making out . But just a second before that happens , a flying trex like dinosaur snatches the trex away .

The finale showdown involves the mutated hybrid transform into a eccentric phase : more legs , more arms and a super long tail like Indy's whip . That monstrous heinous hybrid is called "Da Rex".

A helicopter later arrives to rescue the team but ends up tangled by Da Rex's long tail . The team find a barge to escape in time and hopefully will never have to land on this island ever again .

The end .

(And there is a joke about tailorsaur's nickname being "tailorswifter" among protagonists .)
