What would, in my opinion, help controler player is a steering wheel angle limitation. Currently there is only the steering filter, Curvation and Steering Ratio. There are a few negatives with these. Currently i'm using mostly 2/3 of the analog stick range. The last third only in hair pins and tight turns. So most of the track, i only use 1/3 of the stick range. Whitch means i have to be very sensetive when moving the stick.
With the Steering Filter, the input gets more delayed than limited. Means with high filter it feels like driving a fraight ship rather than a GT3 car.
Curvature is even worse. Yes its less input in the first part of the stick range, but in the later even a nm wide move can make the steering wheel go wooooo.
Last but not least the Steering Ratio is more or less a light version of a wheel angle limiter. This helps, but only as much as it can be set.
Given the M4 GT Evo as example, it has 270° wheel angle in one direction. For me personaly, i would be happy to limit that to like 180° or less. This means the stick range has a higher resolution for the remaining 180° and therefor it would be possible to steer more precise.
EDIT: After writing it and thinking about it, just having a higher steering ratio would do the trick. So please if you dont mind maybe up it to 30?
