Two wealthy men who have been competing since childhood, decide to see who can get the better limousine

To speed things up, the wealthy men will be called WM1 and WM2.

They each give the other a month to buy and customize their limo. But they don't get the chance to do the unveil as WM2 has to go out of town on business.

About a week later WM1 while riding in his limo, sees another brand new limo, and orders his driver to follow it. Before long the other limo pulls over, and WM1 goes and knocks on the tinted window. It rolls down and sure enough it was WM2. W1 then smugly says "I thought that was you!" Then he points to his own limo and says "Mine's got the works. Reclining leather armchair, cocktail bar with quality aged liquor, full temperature control, 5G hotspot wifi, wide screen TV with UHD, complete with both a gaming PC and the latest game console. How's that for comfort, eh?"

WM2 just looks irked and says "Well dandy! You got me out of the hot tub just to tell me that!?"

Why the Titans actually hated the GM II

It all starts with the GM Quel. The Titans seeming masterpiece of a GM they rushed into development. It was basically a cheapened GM Custom with some data on the GP project thrown in. The GP Project had early partial Movable Frames, and then suddenly a GM that was developed and rolled out in a matter of months had it too. Coincidence? I think not! (Puts on aviator sunglasses)

The biggest problem of the GM Quel was it was a dumbed down ambitious design. It's central frame was structurally weak, it lacked adaptability, and had extra large sensors in the legs for scanning crowds that were not a standard feature in later models, and only really added weight while also reducing durability. The central frame would also warp if more powerful thrusters were attached, which required the internal structure to need reinforcement. This was found out in early Hazel testing. All these problems greatly contributed to the Hizack almost fully replacing the GM Quel in 0085, just one year after the Quel was rolled out. But then, why did the Titans go full in with the Hizack, and not take the GM II as well. The reason why was sheer pettiness.

The Titans were mad the GM II beat the GM Quel in cost to performance. Though the GM II was directly based on the original OYW designs, it was enhanced in every aspect, and able to be produced on the same production lines. The GM II beat the GM Quel in nearly every way. It was cheaper, simpler, easier to repair and maintain, ran the best generator for it's time, had greater total thrust, could use existing parts, and was an open canvass for the later GM III upgrade. This sadly was inevitable because the GM Quel was the last of the first generation production GMs, and was a more difficult unit to maintain, since it was based on the GM Custom, which in part was based on the Gundam Alex. And like the GM Custom, the GM Quel used some Alex parts. Like the same main generator. Alex parts were expensive, and one of the main reasons the GM Custom was such a low production unit. Even with cheapening the design for the GM Quel, there were certain parts that couldn't be changed. But the Titans were out to make a statement with production of the Quel. So, they had to stand by it. And since the Quel had Alex parts, the Titans deemed it the perfect unit for Gundam modification. Only to find they couldn't just slap some upgrades and a Gundam head on a Quel, and it needed a lot more. And by the later stages, most of the Quel parts had been changed out for new components.

The early models of the Quel were so rushed, that they had different arms and a slightly different thruster system. The most ironic thing is that if the Titans had waited another six months or so to produce their own GM, the new tech for the GM II would have been rolling in, and they'd have been able to make a better GM Quel with gen 1.5 parts and had more time for starting development. Someone I once talked to was absolutely convinced the GM Quel was a hotrod, and was not happy to learn what I knew about it, and even went into straight up denial. And I wonder if the Titans top brass initially did the same thing. That said, he wasn't as bad as the guy I met who was convinced the Nemo was just a reskinned GM II, and downvoted me as much as possible for pointing out the Nemo was completely different on the inside since it's frame is based off of the Delta Gundam.

Because the GM II beat the GM Quel, the Titans only pretended they were going to adopt the GM II. And they did this by conscripting two old GM Kai, and modifying them to what they claimed were GM II standards. They weren't... They became known as the GM Kai High Mobility Types. They didn't even run the GM II's generator. They used the generator of the GM Sniper Custom/Sniper II, and had to install an improved cooling system with an extra shoulder vent because of the hasty and forced internal upgrades. Then they just added some Quel parts and boosted the Kai backpack. The sensors were also borderline unchanged. So, pretty much nothing of these modified GM Kai reflected the GM II. They were actually faster than the GM II, but had older sensors, weaker generators, and didn't even get the 360 panoramic cockpits. One of them was even modified into a sniper type, because they had no real use as test units since most of the same stuff was tested on the Hazel, Hizack and Galbaldy Beta. They were place-holder GMs so the Titans could smugly point and say they tried to adopt the GM II, without actually trying.

Then the AEUG got formed, much of the AEUG was composed of pilots who took their GM IIs and defected. This was also done with GM Customs and GM Cannon IIs. Which did not reflect well on the GM Quel itself. So, other than Hazel testing, the GM Quel was quietly pulled to rear duty as enough Hizacks were manufactured to replace it. The Quels ended up working as guard MS, worker MS, and even training MS. I find it kinda sad we don't have an official trainer variant of the GM Quel. But one could imagine a Quel just painted yellow. Also, some units were sent to Earth to bolster ranks, as before the Hizack fully took over, the Titans were using repainted GM Kai for ground operations. And with the Quel being a GM that was designed specifically for space and colony use, they weren't of much help against the Karaba forces. So the even older Act Zakus and reproduction Zaku Cannons were deployed ahead of the Quel by 0087.

All that sadly, is why the Titans never formally adopted the GM II. Though they did sorta use it in proxy forces in cooperation with the Federation, they acted like they didn't want to touch the GM II with a 39 & 1/2 foot pole.

After the Gryps Conflict, the GM Quel was not only retired, they were sold off in mass to private security organizations like the PMC Themis. The Themis version of the GM Quel received some internal updates, like the 360 panoramic cockpit upgrade, and likely other general updates to function better on Earth. But their generator output is unknown, and their performance was shown to be no better than the GM II when the two GMs faced each other. So many of them got taken out like typical fodder.

I find all this really sad, because I actually rather like the GM Quel. In the right context, it was even a downright scary GM. But the menace was only armor deep.

Do you like or dislike Babia?

Tough but selfish is how I'd describe her. But I feel she's extremely underrated as a female character from Gundam. She had to have been good as a pilot to have survived a decade using an upgraded Zaku II before getting her custom Jagd Doga. Her face also reminds me a bit of Gyanko from Build Fighters Try.

So I was helping my dad clean out the garage, and found a small locked box

I asked my dad what the locked box was for, and he said it contained his hopes and dreams. But when I shook the box, I couldn't hear anything inside of it.

My dad laughed and said all his hopes and dreams were lost long ago. And when I asked how long ago, he replied "How old are you?"

He goes up to the pharmacist and says "Big Chief, no poop!".

The pharmacist gives him a standard laxative and tells him "Take this to your chief, it should take care of his problem. If not, come back.".

The next day the Indian returns to the pharmacy with an angry look on his face, and says "Big Chief, no poop!!".

The pharmacist whips up a stronger laxative and says "This one is pretty strong. It should do the trick.".

The following day the Indian comes back yet again with an even angrier look on his face, slams his hands on the counter and yells at the pharmacist "BIG CHIEF, NO POOP!! NO POOP AT ALL!!".

The pharmacist, now looking very concerned, starts mixing the strongest laxative he possibly can, gives it to the Indian and says "This one's called Greased Lightning! If it doesn't do it, I don't know what will!".

Another day goes by and the Indian walks back into the pharmacy, with a sad look on his face, and says "BIG POOP, no chief..."
