Hi All, I am an expat who was raised in Qatar for most of my life. I have both current and savings account in Qatar. I now wish to open NRO and NRE accounts in my home country (India). Since I will not be travelling anytime soon, I am doing this process online. They have asked me to get OSV verification on my passport and ID copies from bank or embassy.

So far I have called my bank but they have been incredibly vague and going to the embassy is basically wasting a whole day. Can anybody advice me if they have done this process before ? Is it normal for banks to require these ? and does ICC provide this service ?
