3-5k Solar DNR needed to repair. Should I just do a new roof?
Leaky bedroom light fixture. Saturated insulation. Culprit is solar brackets. First roofer said it was loose shingles and re patched them. But I the ceiling was still open and the planks visible when the next rain hit and it's now clear it's the panels. Worried that other inaccessible/invisible brackets may be causing leaking into other areas of attic that are inaccessible. Repair will require replacing rotten planks (last picture view from inside) which means removing panels.
I don't think the overall roof is in very bad shape but if I'm paying all that just to take the panels off and put them back on, I really want to be thorough and be done...
Thoughts and advice are welcome and appreciated
