I need to diagnose my motherboard and for that i need to see first if my GPU is the culprit doing some high pitched noises/ringings that are being heard from the tower

I tried to go to BIOS and enable Auto settings on the dGPU or iGPU or something, then save, then turn off the PC and remove the GPU from the PCI-E slot, then connect the HDMI cable from my TV (LG C3) to the motherboard's REAR HDMI port

If i turn on the PC it'll stay checking things like the RAM like forever. But if i turn off the PC and put the GPU back in then it boots normally

I wanted to know what am i doing wrong and how to fix it to diagnose the tower

(Motherboard's brand new btw, 2 days old, but this noise is something i had with my previous mobo but need to re-diagnose the situation again)

I wanted to ask if the most recent version of PS now has an option to show the swatches on the right side (The default ones) while having the squares smaller and not huge (I tried not so recent versions of PS in trial versions and they were HUGE AND SPLITTED INTO FOLDERS, wich i didn't liked. Finding the folder with the same colours etc was hard)

Still using 2017 but wanted to jump to 2026 for the performance improvements (hopefully) along better stuff, but want to double make sure. If ya have screenshots of such feat lemme know, please

Yesterday i've build this up at last:

-GIGABYTE X870E AORUS PRO X3D
-AMD RYZEN 9800X3D
-Noctua NH-D15 G2 Chromax.Black (Using splitter for easier Fan Control)
-Crucial Pro DDR5 6400mhz CL32 2x16GB

With the following previous parts:

-CORSAIR HX1200i SHIFT 2025
-GIGABYTE RTX 4070 GAMING OC 12GB
-Be Quiet! DARK BASE PRO 901 + Rear Noctua NF-14x25 G2 CB + Front Noctua NF-14x25 G2 CB Sx2 PP (Latter uses splitter too)
-2 SATA SSDs + 1 DVD writer SATA

I did the following:

-BIOS from F2 to F5 (Stable, non beta). No issues
-Disabled SATA hot swap
-Set up the fan curves
-Disabled the RGB LEDs
-In W10 uninstall previous drivers from the previous board and install the new ones. No issues for now (Saved me some hours, along W10 reactivation)
-NO EXPO IN BIOS FOR NOW. THANK YOU (Traumatized past with AUTO XMP killed a Z170 board, SO NO FOR NOW. IT ACTUALLY WORKS WITH JEDEC, STABLE)

-Memtest RAM OK

Now, i have the following doubts:

-Booting times are longer now than my previous build (Tooked 20secs from power button to desktop autologin. NOW 40 OR MORE). I wanted to know if there's a way to brutally reduce that (30 or way less) WHILE MAINTAINING BIOS/SYSTEM STABILITY (AKA NO BSODs, crashes, shutdowns, whatever worse)...

-Some people told me to do a "PBO". What does that exactly?. Limits the CPU temps?. Reduces the temps a lot while maintaining the default CPU speeds?.. Again, stability or nothing

-Is there a way to make the fan curves to be 4 points (Previous ASUS X570 board) instead of 7???...FROM THE BIOS btw... Fan Control is for testing purposes

-Next to my USB C internal port there's a red light next to the PCI-E pins hole thingy. What is that for?. The USB C port works as intended even tho it's not having the 65W powering because probably of such PCI-E hole, but... What is the light really for?

-Any other things i should know to make the experience better (while NOT touching EXPO, for now...)?

Thanks in advance

2 months ago i installed a Noctua NH-U12A CB in my AM4 build but one of the brackets fell off the mounting cylinders, hitting the mobo and it's condensers lightly. Since that and after a month passed that made a high pitch ringing like "eeeeeee" (similar to a flashbang but less)

I tried removing the GPU, putting the PSU outside (CORSAIS HX1200i SHIFT 2025), putting a previous PSU (CORSAIR RM1200x SHIFT 2023) but nothing

If i lowered the CPU and chipset fans to zero the noise would be heavily reduced, so i thought that the brackets hitting the mobo and condensers was the culprit (resonating), along some electricitt noises coming from the mobo so i changed a 5yo build to AM5 (partially, only changed parts shown below)

GIGABYTE AORUS PRO X3D

RYZEN 9800X3D (has iGPU)

Noctua NH-D15 CB G2

Crucial Pro DDR5 2x16GB 6400mhz CL32

What stays is a Be Quiet! DARK BASE PRO 901, the HX1200i above and a GIGABYTE RTX 4070 Super GAMING OC, along a Noctua NF-A14x25 CB G2 at the rear and the same but Sx2 PP at the front. Rear fan 1 cable, front ones with an extender and a splitter. CPU cooler was tested without and actually with splitter for better Fan Control use

And yet the noise persists....Now kinda more noticeable

Is there any troubleshooting steps i can (re-) test out to find out who the culprit is?

Thanks in advance

I have a Office 2021 Professional Plus key but the official Microsoft site doesn't have an installer of the app itself. It tells me to go to my profile to find Office but the only thing there is Office 365

Where can i find the legal installer for O2021PP?

I'm from Spain and the KB has finally reached Spain with ES layout and red switches at a reliable spanish online shop (PCComponentes) for 187€ (33% offer) instead of 280€ (New btw). It has a very kind policy return too (30 days)

I wanted to ask opinions but also have my doubts. Coming from a MEMBRANE Logitech G213 for comparison and talking about KC's red switches!. Would be using WIRED ALWAYS (Not sure if it could cause an issue with the battery)

-To those who RECENTLY bought the kb, wich firmware did you got it at?. Did you updated it first hand or...?. Manufacturing date?

-To those who already owns the keyboard since it's release date of January, how's it holding up?. Any issues?

-When it comes to the switches and travel, is the pressing smooth and soft without bumps?. If you rest your fingers on the KB without pressing them do they activate the keys accidentally due to the top's weight or must you press it half or to the bottom to activate the key? (Just saying coz i have a gifted CORSAIR K65 RGB PRO MINI with "Speed silver" switches and the MINIMAL MINIMAL presure activates the key... The KB is hidden in a wardrove...)

-I've seen that these switches are KSA profiled ones. What does that means?. The only thing i see from side views on Tom's Hardware review is that the upper and lower? parts of the keys seems "A tiny bit higher curved" than mine https://cdn.mos.cms.futurecdn.net/GQHw5uu3KJzhWfUKKnDjpN.jpg

Could it be problematic when traveling my fingers or something?

-For the top right keys above the numpad, can assign them to following in the following left to right order?: PLAY/PAUSE, STOP, PREVIOUS SONG, NEXT SONG (And make em work when the music player's UNFOCUSED)

-For the 3 keys above HOME END etc, can you assign them to be "PRNT SCRN, SCRL LOCK, PAUSE/BREAK" back again?. Are there any indicators wether SCRL LOCK or CAPS LOCK and NUM BLOCK are activated? (Got a photo of how do they look like if it's possible?)

-If you set the colours etc of the keyboard in the official app, will all these settings be saved within the keyboard's memory without the need of the app again?

-Can you disable the FN key and/or change the keycap to "Option" , then/or change it's function so it becomes a "Right click" just like some other keyboards do?. Same for ALT GR (Right alt to make the @ symbol with the 2 key above the textual keyboard area)

-Would you recommend the keyboard?

Thanks in advance!

i was aware of it. From all the comments on Amazon about 3-4 of em mentions my case: One of the plastic seals was peeled up (no nail marks tho) and was dried and the top/bottom parts of that side had tiny cardboard cracks like if it was opened. The other side's seal is intact BIUT also has the same cracked cardboard crackings

However the RAM sticks seems correct (unless ya tell me to check for certain parts)

Those who mentioned the box topic never updated their review with the aftermath

What should i do with the RAM?. Since i have 30 days i could do a memtest once i assemble the tower again (no new mobo yet, GIGABYTE AORUS PRO X3D) and see if with 1-2 passes shows bad sectors...Or i could ask for a replacement of the same and praying this one comes correctly sealed

EDIT: After a certain comment's checkings i've made sure the fins and side-internal fins (the latter no issues by default) have been rebent straight with no issues and the heat pipes doesnt seems to have any possible scratch, not even the silver base. Case closed!

The very top of the cooler's heatsink had the fins bent upwards in C curved like but not like an straight L

I've rebent them along a couple others from the bottom that were together

The silver base is intact with the plastic (altho the plastic was a bit off from the box's bottom hole. There doesnt seems to be scratches at the plate itself)

Box of tools seems to have everything at first glance

Will the cooler be ok?.. I mean...The fans are like...SMALLER??? than the heatsink itself and DOESNT reaches the affectee fins (i didnt paid attention to the fins at the cooler's center because i dont have the new mobo yet)...And the fans' paper are intact. Sent/sold by Amazon

Not on QVL but if i use Crucial's upgrade system it shows this RAM BUT if i enter the product it asks to re-check the compatibility wich, once the board's chosen it says it isn't

Board is a GIGABYTE X870E PRO X3D

Those who owns the board for a long time (How long?), how's it holding up?. Udpated to stable actual BIOS?. Any issues with the BIOS or stutterings in Windows 10/11?

About to pull the trigger but there's not many posts of people with it

I know it's been a while since Noctua said they were fixing the top heatsink plate's rumbling, but just in case:

Does ANY Amazon store (Spain in my case) with the Noctua Shop as seller or something, has orders to MUST send the newest revision, or is there a luck of the straw? that ya get the older, bad one instead?

Just to prevent bad luck... Hey admin, @noctua, can ya confirm anything out, please?

Gonna be going to AM5 soon with the 9800X3D and the cooler above and wanted to know your thoughts, that includes IDLE, gaming and stress temps

And are you using that PBO thing in the BIOS or running it stock?

Also, are you using the 0mm or the -7mm offset holding bracket?

Of course everything with the included Noctua thermal paste!

I am close to pull the trigger on the board (with a 9800X3D and a GIGABYTE RTX 4070 Super) but want to know ya experiences with it, good and bad (and if fixable too), be it ya still use it or if ya returned/got something else instead (if so, what ya got?)

Be it BIOS, ethernet and USB ports working, default or EXPO'd, X3D turbo on or off, NVME etc

Also, does it have a mini fan on the chipset and/or the rear I/O?. I HATE THEM VERY MUCH
