What will happen to Via Rail passenger trains if/when Alto high speed is built ?
And do you think Via will ever modernize their boarding process? Why are we lining up like we are in an airport ? In Europe you buy your ticket at a machine and walk onto to the train.
Do you think the costs could go down if via rail maintains its services ? Again Europe has both high speed ($$$) and regular rail lines that are super affordable.
