Soft Milky White Raised Oval on Top of Toe

Soft Milky White Raised Oval on Top of Toe

M in my mid 30's. Just the other day I happened to look down and realized there appears to be some sort of raised white oval on my middle toe. I'm not sure when exactly it got there, I don't check my feet very often but I'm assuming it was relatively recently. It doesn't hurt when I push down on it, and it's very soft to the touch.

I tried bandaging it for a few days to see if it would heal, but nothing seems to have changed. It's now been more than a week since I first noticed it and it does not appear to have healed or visibly changed much since it first appeared. Also, if this context helps, I did recently start trying to get back into running recently after having not done it for quite a while. I wonder if this may have something to do with this. I have not run since I noticed it to try and let it heal.

Please any information on what this might be would be very appreciated, thank you so much.
