Hey everyone!
I know this is asked a lot, and I have read a lot of threads about it. I also searched some materials commonly cited but I am still finding it confusing so I decided to post myself asking for help.
I wanted to give a try to learn a new language since I have some free time right now, and decided to go with chinese. My main goal would be learning how to speak and read, I don't really have an interest in writting.
Since I have 0 knowledge about the language, where should I start? What are the best resources out there?
I tried to learn japanese during the covid quarantine times and I felt that there were more straightforward resources with a clear path to learn wich really made it easy, but for chinese I'm having some trouble finding a consensus on what to do for a self learner.
