Recommendations to visting cyclists?
Hello Minneapolis Cyslists!
I am one of a small group of cyclists coming to visit your fine city in about a month for a few days of exploring what we have been told is a very bicycle friendly city. Can't wait! I'm hoping to hear from some of you about which are the best trails to ride for a group of 7 or 8 beer swilling, casual (non-kitted) riders. I'm always interested to hear of the best bars/restaurants/brewpubs that cater to the bicycle riding crowd. By which I mean places where you can lock your bike up within sight, that kind of thing. Also, areas to avoid for whatever reason: trail conditions suck, not much to do there, etc. We are not youngsters; I think our youngest participant on this trip is 57. (That's wild, I just realized that) but we are a fun group, not afraid of adventures and long rides. What do you say?
