Completing the game
Hi there! I started playing Celeste 3 weeks ago and finally—after 15k deaths and 70 hours—I cleared all A, B, and C sides, got all the strawberries, and even earned the "Level Up" achievement. So, I have 100% of the achievements.
But... I saw those pretty and "unobtainable" Golden Berries.
I like 100%-ing games; I do this for all the games I adore and really enjoy (well, I had nightmares during some parts...), but after seeing those berries, it feels like they are the "true" completion.
I NEED THEM.
But my skill level is not that great. I did the Goldens on 1A, 2A, 1C, and 2C—the four easiest—but only the thought of Chapter 9 is giving me the creeps. With enough trying, I know I can get them, but oh my god, it’s hurting.
So, what do you think? Should I offer half my life on this altar, or just be happy with the 100% achievements? I really need a second opinion!
