I‘m sure like many of you here, I did AI as a kid. Life got in the way and I moved on.

I’m in my 30’s and taking my kid to skate parks and man it makes me miss the hell out of my hay-day. Now that I’m back at skateparks again, I can’t help but realize I don’t see ANY inline skaters. Did the culture die? Do skateboarders still hate inline skaters like they did when I was young?

I want to get back into some type of skating whether it be AI or skateboarding. I currently play adult league ice hockey so I’ve kept the skating skills alive.

Tell me some good beginner brands of skates, what wheels/bearings are people using now? Are you guys still taking out the middle 2 wheels like I used to?
