Short and sweet tonight. Teaser time. Mama is writing a book aimed at teens-20 somethings. Its not about Pepperoni but she makes an epic debut/appearance. As soon as we get it copyrighted we will share some of it. Heads up ✌️

Pepperoni & Hot Laundry

Another thing Pepperoni cherished was a great big pile of fresh HOT laundry. Just like the sheets coming off she always knew when hot laundry was dumped on the bed. CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK CLICK down the hall she would run, hopping up onto the bed and digging in. She would dig so hard that Mama would be on one side of the bed and me the other just to make sure she doesnt back herself off the edge (again🤪🤣). She would bury herself in the hottest spot of the pile. We quickly learned though that as much as she wanted us to not bother her when she was covered up, she would quickly overheat depending on how hard she dug in at first. So 10 minutes at most is what we gave her before folding it all, slowly diminishing her Chiweenie Cave 🥹

Pepperoni & The Naked Bed.

Pepperoni absolutely loved to go into "Chicken Legs" mode. Any chance she got, she'd throw her legs out "gimme them scratches" 🤣

No matter how many times she got to do it, her absolute favorite time for Chicken Legs was when we were changing our bed sheets. As soon as they were removed it was like she could smell it 🤣 She would zoomie her little ass from wherever she was and jump up on the bed. Digging and scratching at it, barrel rolling, then throw her Chicken Legs out as hard as possible.. head and chest up high and she would drag herself all over the bed, doing circles in the middle like a pinwheel. It was an event every time ♥️🐾🌈💔

Pepperoni was born & raised in North Carolina. Bred in Mt.Pleasant, my daughters Chiweenie and her boyfriends Dachshund were Pepperonis parents. Peppy was born in Kannapolis. Raised in Mooresville. Passed where we live now. She saw the mountains and the coast. Her 10.5 years were full of adventure and love. In my 54 years i have never met a more beautiful soul ♥️🐾🌈💔♥️

A "not so funny at the time" but a "hilarious now" story. When we first brought Peppy home Mama had a spot made up on the floor next to our bed. Thats where we thought Pepperoni would sleep at night. So we thought 🤣

After about 3 hours of her "in her spot" Mama couldn't take it anymore and we brought her to bed. That was day 1. On day 3 I was awaken abruptly in the middle of the night to Peppy marking her territory.

I'm beyond tired tonight. On day 31 without a day off. 16 more to go. Can't think of a story id like to share tonight. Sorry. I will say though, its been a rough few days with memories of Pepperoni. Every Thursday sucks now. But reading all your replies here always helps. I find myself here, in this Sub more thsn anywhere else on the internet.

Pepperoni Surfing on a Golf Cart.

Whenever we went camping we brought Peppy. Unfortunately she wasn't into socializing with the other dogs so walking her anywhere other dogs were became a chore. Every time another pup would come into range, she went nuts. And sometimes so hard she would foam at the mouth and hyperventilate. It wasn't good. We had to stop doing it. So we always made sure wherever we camped we had room for her to do her own thing. Thats not always easy at campgrounds or resorts. Space is usually limited.

So we started renting places that had golf carts.

Lol... game changer 🤣

We would put Peppy on the floorboard, Mama had her leg up for a brace and Peppy knew what to do 🤣

We started cruising around the grounds and Peppy would lean hard into Mamas leg, stretching herself out as far as she could with all 4 feet on the edge. Her ears flapping back on her head from the wind. She absolutely loved it. All the dogs she use to see and bark at as if they were mortal enemies were now on the receiving end of "Look at me Bitches, Im surfing on a golf cart" 🤣🤣🤣

After a few times doing that, we came home and bought her her own golf cart ♥️🐾🌈💔♥️

Kill it Rone!!

One thing we noticed right away when playing with ber and her toys... she did not like to be looked at. If we just left it alone she would be OK. But if we picked up a toy that had a face and eyes and stared at her with it.. it was on like Donkey Kong. She would kill that toy. She would focus relentlessly on nipping it apart with her tiny teeth. Mama and I would be watching TV, all quiet like, and we would here the snapping noise she would make when she was trying to rip a toy open. First it would always be the face. Eyes.. gone. Nose and mouth next. From there it became a murder scene. Total slaughter. Toy guts everywhere. Squeaker punctured as if it were stabbed a hundred times with a fork 🤣 And where's Peppy when we find this mess? Snack dab in the middle if it. Every single time.. every single look she gives us when we catch her.. "MOM.. DAD.. IT FUCKING LOOKED AT ME" 🤣🤣🤣
