My little complicated relationship...
So uhh... basically, im friends with this girl from my class, shes cute, exactly my type, and man, I like her. So I found the balls to confess and ask her out. She first rejected my asking-out thingie saying she aint got time, which yes, it was probably an excuse. Anyhow, I continued on, I didnt really care if we dated or not since we were still friends, and then, one random day, she texted me.
"I like you too"
Yeah heart attack for me, melted right on the sofa.
I immediately responded, I aint even sure how, but I asked her out again, and she accepted. I think the first time was some kinda test to see if I stop talking to her but idk, we agreed to go somewhere nice during a break at our school... which we never did... buuuut we continued to be friends, we got closer and closer, i do stuff id never do before rn, and shes been giving me hints I dont know how to answer to.
Now, todays been WILD. My friend has been trying to get closer to her too, even though she hates him, and when she texted me today "dude help hes annoying me again" we thought of something. This mightve been shitty of us but she literally boldly asked him "Are u crushing on me?"
Friend replied: "Maybe"
And when she send me that screenshot, i froze fast. My friend who helped me gain the confidence to ask her out, who knew i liked her, is betraying me like this?
So I texted him myself (she agreed dw) and confronted him.
"U like [her name]? Seriously?"
He replied INSTANTLY. "Yeah sry."
"U knew i like her bro."
"If u tell anyone i swear"
Aaaand then he started to threaten me if I even said a word of this.
Then she confronted him too (theres not a better feeling that someone u like stand by ur side) and one message to him melted my heart again. "I dont want you, I want [My name]"
I was like "...holy... shit..." I had no words, I was so happy, so shocked, so angry at the friend, I was frozen once more.
Now im not sure thought, what even are we? Should I ask her out seriously this time? Should I make some move like in the movies? Its my first time even being something more than friends with a girl.
