NB Seat Mods?
Has anyone ever tried to bend the NB Tombstone seat backs at the headrest to create more room for the seat to go back further?
I installed a GC Fabrications rollbar and it’s restricted the seat movement by about 20mm (3/4”). The clash is on the back of the headrest against the rollbar. There is loads of space between my head at the headrest anyway so I’m wondering if it can be bent forward or even cut the frame and then weld it up?
I’ve been looking at alternative seats and frankly I’m too fat for bucket seats & no recliner looks to provide additional leg or headroom that I was already looking for before fitting the rollbar.
My plan is to foamectomy the seat back and modify the frame when I’m in there but would like to know if this has been done before or anyone has other suggestions?
