Has anyone noticed a significant change in shop traffic when you raised your shipping prices above Etsy's $6.00 threshold? The new USPS prices have been rough on my shop.

I've been getting killed with this recent USPS fuel surcharge, so I decided to finally move my shipping prices from 5.99 to 6.50. I'll still be losing money on some shipments but it will average out. I immediately get several layers of scolding from Etsy saying my shipping prices aren't "customer friendly" or whatever, and among these scolds is a thing saying my shipping price (still charging less than it costs in many cases) will affect search visibility.

Regardless of how maddening it is to not be able to charge the actual shipping cost without Etsy finger wagging, has anyone done this and noticed that sales/views went down immedately after?
