my ipad air 4 (256gb) used to work fine on ios 18

after updating it to ipad os 26 homescreen also started lagging

recently i updated it to ipados 26.4.1 it has become more worse

while playing codm 1st few mins it runs on 60 fps then it suddenly drops to 30 fps the ipad is only warm atp

then i need to open control centre or close and open codm to reset it to 60 fps but after few seconds it again drops to 30

this shit happens with all games even subway suffers lag

i play with 50% brightness and windowed apps off

battery health is 88% with cycle count above 900

pls help me its so frustating to play like this
