So, in a Willy Wonka Golden Ticket moment, our 7 y.o. pulled this gold Mega Zygarde EX from one of two packs we got him to open on the morning of his birthday. Then, a few days later in a lightning-never-strikes-twice moment, our 9 y.o. pulled this gold Mega Charizard EX from some 4-pack tin (?) that one of his friends got him for his birthday.
I’m a junk wax era baseball card kid from the 90s, so this world is all new to me. The local card shop showed me Price Charting, so I’ve got a sense of pricing and I’m a long time eBay seller so I’m comfortable in that world. I’ve also researched grading for my vintage collection—barely anything worth grading—so I have some point of reference.
What’s the play here? I don’t think they’re PSA10s due to centering on the MC and something that looks a few little lines/marks on the top of the back of the MZ.
Besides the epic memories we have, what’s the play here?
P.s. if they were mine, I realize I’d be required to do something with them that involves my butt…but they’re not mine.
