Got a summons for this week. Here’s my experience.

Call the number. The website wouldn’t load for me. Using MacBook.
Was told to show at criminal court in Riverhead.
Showed up early 9:30am hoping to get out early. Didn’t happen. We didn’t leave the room until 11:30. People were still arriving at 11 without a problem.
They have a smoking area.
100 of us got sent to the courtroom. Judge asked us questions and dismissed me a lot of us. Physical problems, vacations financial hardship. Trial is going to take a month.
I left the courtroom and went back to the jury room. Got my card punched and I’m done for 6 years.
