I’m a CS student trying to decide between these options:

∙	MacBook Air M5 16GB 512GB  ~$1,333
∙	MacBook Pro M4 24GB 512GB  ~$1,781

My use case: ∙ Data Engineering ∙ AI/ML experiments locally

My main questions: 1. Is 16GB genuinely enough or will I regret it since mac ram can’t be upgraded?

2. Is the Air heat a problem for this kind of workload or is it overhyped?

3.	Is the Pro worth the extra cost mainly for the fan and ports?
