Need help with the keyboard switches not working as intended, don't know if it's software or hardware problem
In short, my cousing came home with his keyboard saying it had a problem that arised just yesterday. Basically the column of keys that is seen in the picture, either don't work as intended or directly open a screen I've never seen before (as seen in the short video). I thought at first it was a software error, but then he said that his cat puked on "ScrLK, Pausa, Inicio, RePag" keys.
What I fear is that this is a hardware issue, if it is, will someone, or him, be able to repair it or is it cheaper to just buy another keyboard?

small update: The cat's puke was described to me as "not really puke, more like a weird hairball", so I'm officially stumped :|
