How to fix disc enough to recover data
Okay I know this is extremely old school but I finally found the DVD are that I put my old computer's data on, problem is it's scratched like hell, It looks like a cat took their claws to it multiple times over other than that the disc is ok,theres no cracks nothing just scratches I need to have the data on this disc but my brand new disc drive won't read it, But it will read everything else, so my question is after the toothpaste method what's the next best way to clean a disc so it'll be read long enough to get the data off it. And if it matters it's a Sony DVD or 4.7 GB, version .2.1/1X-16x.
