I(26F) discovered my boyfriend(30M) on Tinder- have you worked through virtual infidelity?
My boyfriend has been so loving and kind to me. In every single way. We had some issues in the past of him liking half naked girls instagram pictures but he unfollowed them when I voiced my concern. I have not ever went on his phone until the other night. He fell asleep and I just thought to look at it. I had found a second Reddit account filled with porn subreddits, and the comments he left on some posts were disgusting, he’s never talked that way to me before. I found TWO Instagram accounts one of which he portrayed a teen girl and followed all women that he had unfollowed from his own instagram. Then I found a telegram with nudes on it and guys swapping videos and pics of girls. And then I came across the email that was asking for verification for Tinder… kicker is he was using ChatGPT to come up with responses to these girls on Tinder. I woke him up and confronted him and he didn’t know what to even say. It felt like my heart was ripped out of my chest and I was gutted. It’s like I never really knew the real him.
We have been talking and he truly seems remorseful and has let me go on his phone and has deleted a lot of things in front of me.
I love him so very much and I have been cheated on physically in the past and virtually/emotionally. But they never seemed remorseful or offered many options to work through like current bf. Has anyone had similar experiences? Have you been able to work through it together? Or not?
