I'm really in need of an opinion, because if I make my own opinion I might be misinterpreting it to soothe myself.
I saw him (19M) at a college showcase. He really seemed like he did not expect me to also be there. the first time we saw each other was a few weeks ago while he was out with his rebound but he only looked at me for less than one second then tried to block me out of his view, trying to only walk and look in front. But this time, he noticed me and he made eye contact of a few seconds before I was the one who switched to another direction. He looked a bit... surprised/confused. his face did not say indifference.
I looked back at him again to see him glancing once more at me again. We kept walking so I was at some considerable distance compared to him. I ask my classmate to look at him so I don't have to turn around to look because he would know I still care.
He was talking to the phone and kept looking back at me for 3 times as he kept trying to look somewhere else after each glance. each of them 3-4 seconds-long. then he left.
he did this was he was with his rebound next to him too. what could his reaction mean?
