So I have a home HOCl electrolysis machine at home, it works by electrolysis of NaCl water into mild hypochlorous acid which is a safe disinfectant. It definitely was working as I would test each batch with a chloride test strip, and also would smell like chlorine water. The other day it suddenly stopped working and I have tried a whole bunch of stuff:
•It didn't create hypochlorous acid anymore according to test strip and smell. Also doesn't bubble as usual when electrolysing
•Power supply seems to be working according to the voltmeter
•Current would appear to be passing through because it would light up as usual, however I know it could just be a separate circuit
A bit more context, this is something like the 5th unit that I've exchanged, every few months this happens and the company doesn't seem concerned about giving me a new one repeatedly without any feedback
Shooting my shot that someone would have a solution for this!
