War plan progress needs a buff

War plan progress needs a buff.. they can double it to 250 progress points and it will still be a slog.

I'm over para 250 and so far only 1 is at 7, others at 6, 5 and 4.

I get we need something to grind out, but:

- war plans are character bound, good luck rolling an alt

- war plans juice your end game but, by the time you will have gotten all the nodes, you're probably done with the season and won't experience fully juiced mechanics.

I'd argue that by the time you hit 250, war plans should be done with so you have the last 50 para points left to fully minmax from the juiced content in the race to 300.

For the people who have accessed the secret cow level: you can pay it forward by mooing at others.

Some feedback below after having blasted the new xpac for more hours than I care to admit.

  • I don't know why Blizzard thinks adding sockets to a gear piece needs to be gated behind a rare drop from world bosses (on a timer) or the raid. Infernal hordes has a chance for prisms but it's not consistent. I have about 5 gear pieces I crafted which are just sitting in my stash waiting for a prism to drop. Or being lucky enough to be online to catch a few world boss spawns. Just reduce the world boss timer already, this has been asked multiple times regardless of prisms drops. Why can´t a world boss spawn every hour or every 2 hours?
  • I also don't understand why we would need 300 souls to craft 1 gem when you also need 50 for an enchant and need it for masterworking and need it for imprinting. At least let a salvage net us 5 souls or something instead of 1.
  • Gem fragments also come in short supply with the addition of the cube. You can stack 5 grand gems for a cube version of them. I also read that you can take the 5 cube gems and go for the ultra cube gem. You´d need 25 Grand gems for this, equating to 25 million gems fragments. I don´t even have 25million gem fragments on Eternal.

Diablo 4 is the formula 1 of ARPG in terms of game pace. If they want to slow us down, resource starvation feels a very bad way to achieve it. Other ARPGs slow down progression in a much smarter way. I feel D4 misses the mark on some resource balancing. A few tweaks can go a very long way to make it more better balanced (like world boss timers, more souls per salvage, more gem fragment drop sources or quant).

The Warlock skills effects are just over the top in a party if you are playing another class.. The entire screen is covered in purple or fire effects, completely blocking your own effects or enemy skills.

If Blizz could implement transparency sliders for other people's skill effects that would be great.

Has anyone achieved perma WOTB uptime? Is it possible if you achieve 75% capped CDR? It kinda baffles me that COTA has half the cooldown compared to WOTB. I really don´t like running COTA but when I look at the massive cooldown on WOTB I immediately go "well, this is useless".
