My Tobacco Vanille Experience
Excited to finally bite the bullet on this fragrance after Noir Extreme became my go-to.
First spray screamed "holy aniseed, Batman!" for some reason, before settling quickly into smelling like a high-school wiccans backpack (not unpleasant, just the first note that popped to my head).
As the day progressed, I had a couple family comments about an unfamiliar but no unpleasant smell filling the room.
Come evening, I got in the car with my partner and her sister...
"Can anyone else smell Kinder eggs?"
Her sister agreed, and after some confusion and sniffing about, I said "okay, this might be me, I have a new vanilla heavy aftershave", at which point they let out an affirming "ahhhh" in unison. My partner asked if it was the one she had seen on the top male fragrance lists, and I said yes.
"Interesting, but my nephew will be all over you. He loves kinder eggs."
So. My current experience has been... mixed. I will endevour to sit with it, but at least there's a strong chance it can sit with my magic props if I ever decide to do it professionally for children's parties! 😅
