Hi,
I accidentally hit a lowered parking ramp with my car. The impact was quite loud. It scraped the bottom of the fuel tank (plastic).
There are no leaks and no smell of fuel, but the impact created this "protrusion" or a hard ridge along the scrape. It’s not dented inwards; it feels like the plastic was "plowed" and deformed outwards.
Should I be worried about the structural integrity of the tank? Is it safe to drive like this, or does it need an immediate replacement?
Thanks
