Down the Rabbit Hole: My sim racing journey from where I started to where I’m headed.
After a long time on PlayStation 5, I finally made the switch back to PC. What started as a casual hobby playing GT7 with a gamepad quickly turned into a deep dive down the "rabbit hole." I started with a Logitech G923 and a Playseat Challenge, but I couldn't resist the urge to upgrade. I soon moved to a Fanatec DD+ Extreme base, V3 pedals, and the Fanatec 1.5 H-pattern shifter. I quickly realized the Challenge couldn't handle that much torque, so I upgraded to a Playseat Trophy, which was a huge improvement. However, my quest for the ultimate simulation didn't stop there. I wanted even more realism, so I built a high-end gaming PC and moved to a full Sim Lab rig.
Here is my current setup... for now! 🫣
