For all the people talking about how season 3 and 4 are their favorites and how the running up that hill scene is the most emotional and intense scene of the entire show, I beg to differ. I feel like this moment doesn't get talked about enough, and really awesome Season 1 moments like this sometimes get lost in all the later season discussions.

THIS is what convinced me that Stranger Things was my favorite show. It made me tear up first time watching

David's acting was FUCKING PHENOMENAL in that scene
