Hey y'all, my Dad recently passed away and so my stepmom and I have been going through his possessions. He had an enormous book collection which is overwhelming even for us to do drop-offs of. We tried contacting the Re-Book It service provided by the Last Bookstore but we haven't been able to get in contact, it seems like maybe they're not operating anymore? Since these were my dad's books he valued a lot, I would love for them to actually find a second home and love the idea of them being donated to various orgs / bookstores etc. Has anyone used one of these pickup services that claim to collect and donate used books (i.e. American Book Drive, Book Driver LA, Donate Books Fast LA) and had a good experience with them? Are they any you don't recommend? Thanks in advance any info at all would be really appreciated.
