What were Jerome's superpowers in Gattaca?

Heart of an ox, better than 20/20 eyesight, run through a wall? How many of these were legit?

It literally sounds like Jerome could be strong enough to apewalk daily without his wheelchair. Yes like the Guinness record of the guy who walked the longest on his handstand.

It's like he just needed crutches. And he'll be strong enough to both balance and walk on those crutches.

Hypothetical IFV unit - concept idea

It's a concept idea for any RTS really. Imagine an IFV with multiple variant turrets and weapons. How would you change between the modes? I had an idea concept this month. Its weapon and turret changes accordingly to these scenarios: is it targeting air or ground? is it firing on the move or stationary or being issued a direct attack order? is it attacking at short ranges, medium ranges 6-11 or long ranges 13-18?

Now the combinations above essentially give anywhere from 3 to 10 weapons in 1. And the lore behind it is that the faction uses several different types of this IFV, such that in any particular scenario the weapon is retcon-ned to another weapon as it is needed.

The balance to this is that you are required to pump levels of upgrades in the form of a superability i.e. it exists in the superweapons tab and you have to constantly spend e.g. $2,500 to upgrade each level. The first level maybe adds 3 new weapon modes, then the next adds 3 more. This functions like building an invisible tech structure - you complete "it" but don't place it next to a building. You complete "it" and its counter increases by 1. Think of this like the Spy infiltrating a War Factory allowing you to build veteran vehicles. You can think of it like there's an invisible structure providing the buff. Similar to here.

Do I need to get off the drugs, or can this idea concept work? Opinions?
