Okay i will start by saying that i am hugee fans of both bws and IU and have been literally waiting for this drama to drop the moment casting was revealed. There’s just one thing bothering me as more episodes come out, I can’t help but not feel the romantic chemistry between the two. They feel like friends …who kiss sometimes?
The kiss scenes were great don’t get me wrong but obviously that’s not the only way to portray romance. I don’t feel the tension, the intimacy that look in their eyes. I don’t know it just feels like they don’t like each-other as much as the drama portrays them to. I know Lee Ahn has been secretly pining for Heeju for years but I need a bit more than a blank stare to her face 😭. Im not sure if it’s due to the characters personality or what but the romance just feels stiff and forced. It doesn’t feel smooth and natural. It’s like I can feel that they’re acting. maybe it’s just me but they really just feel like friends .
